TxDOT Projects in Mont Belvieu
FM 3180 (Eagle Drive)
In partnership with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) for funding and development, TxDOT approved a series of construction projects along the Farm to Market Road 3180 & Farm to Market Road 2354 corridor from I-10 to the Fisher Road area in the Mont Belvieu, Baytown, and Beach City communities located in Chambers County. Some of these projects are under construction, while others are planned in the future. The purpose of these roadway improvements is to reduce congestion, increase mobility and improve safety. Construction along the corridor, stretching from the US 59/IH 69 interchange to the north and SH 146 in Baytown to the south, commenced in 2018. Construction activities are currently underway, including bridge construction, roadway paving, right-of-way acquisition with property owners, and utility relocations. LEARN MORE
The purpose of the Farm to Market 1409 roadway extension project is to effectively and expeditiously respond to increased transportation demand while enhancing mobility, decreasing congestion, and improving safety within Western Chambers County. LEARN MORE
The City of Mont Belvieu and Chambers County are in TxDOT’s Beaumont District jurisdiction. The Beaumont District is responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of nearly 2,400 miles of state highway, and more than 1,500 bridges in Southeast Texas. The district covers eight counties and is located along the Gulf Coast and adjacent to Louisiana.

City of Mont Belvieu Capital Improvement Transportation Projects
Construct approximately 1 mile of concrete roadway with two bridges. Includes drainage and waterline as well as excavation of amenity pond. LEARN MORE
Extension of Perry Avenue from FM 1409 to FM 565. The scope of work also includes the construction of reinforced concrete pavement, sidewalks, storm sewer, water line, sanitary sewer, replacement of FM 565 culvert crossing, signing & striping, and traffic control. LEARN MORE
Cherry Point Resurfacing
The project generally involves milling and 2” asphalt overlay, regrading of existing roadside ditches, and replacement of various driveway culverts on the existing streets within the Cherry Point Subdivision. The project also includes the concrete channel lining of Cherry Point Gully. LEARN MORE
