Hilltop Class

FITNESS CLASSES

YOGA

Improves flexibility and balance with an emphasis on breath control for positive mental and physical health and relaxation.

YIN YANG YOGA

Yin focuses on held poses to work joints and connective tissues. Yang focuses on activity improving blood flow, strength, stamina, and flexibility.

CHAIR YOGA

Yoga with the assistance of a chair (no getting up from the floor). Improves flexibility, balance, and breath control for mental and physical wellness.

TOTAL BODY RECALL YOGA

A soothing stretch session, perfect to release stubborn stress. Unwind and release tension with slow and soothing movements.

ESSENTIAL MOBILITY YOGA

Combines strength and flexibility with focus to increase mobility, balance, and range of motion.

PILATES

Stretching, strength, and flexibility exercise focusing on core strength.

SENIORS-B-FIT 1 AND 2 (CHAIR EXERCISE)

Low-impact exercise with the assistance of a chair, focusing on strength, balance, and heart health.

LOW-IMPACT FITNESS

Cardio & strength-based. Exercises designed to strengthen the heart and lungs, combined with muscle work for balance and stamina.

LIFTING FOR LIFE

focus on total-body strength, endurance, mobility, balance, and coordination using body weight and/or dumbbells at each individual’s level of strength.

LINE DANCING

Step-by-step teaching of fun, popular line dances. Line Dancing Basics is also available for those who need to “brush up” on basic steps before participating in regular classes.

CHAIR VOLLEYBALL

Fun for all levels of fitness; played using a beach ball and seated in a chair for the duration of the game.

AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT FOR CLASSES

Yoga and Pilates Classes

The Hilltop provides blocks, blankets, and straps. We encourage you to bring your own mat.

Other Fitness Classes

The Hilltop provides dumbbells from 1 lb. up to 8 lbs., stretch tubes and bands, stability balls, balance discs, and aerobic steppers.

*This equipment is also available for individual use outside of the group class setting.

HYDRATION

Water fountains and bottle fill-up stations are located right outside the aerobics room & inside the fitness room. We encourage our members to bring their own water bottles. We do not provide bottled water or drinks.

FITNESS INSTRUCTORS

Our Hilltop fitness instructors are first-class. Each instructor is certified in multiple areas of expertise and has years of training, including working specifically with senior adults. Our fitness instructors will help you find your comfort level of fitness, all with encouragement and a smile.
